University Of Edinburgh’s MSc Food Security Student Network Session to UCTC UPM

Serdang, 13 April 2018- UCTC UPM received a visit from a delegation of University of Edinburgh ‘s MSc Food Security students. A total of 30 students attended and received a courtesy speech from Prof Dr Mansor Abu Talib, UCTC UPM Director. Prof Dr Umarani Sinniah presented the food security and agriculture scenario in Malaysia, while Assoc Prof Dr Faez Firdaus Jesse Abdullah presented the scenario of food security and livestock in Malaysia.

UCTC UPM accompanied the delegation to visit UPM's TPU deer and dairy farms to look into the management of the livestock. UCTC UPM wishes to thanks to all delegates from MSc Food Security, The University of Edinburgh Geoscience, for choosing Universiti Putra Malaysia as one of the destination in the MSc Food Security Tour.
