UCTC UPM focuses on female entrepreneurs development program

Preliminary discussions between University Community Transformation Center (UCTC) Universiti Putra Malaysia together with the Ministry of Women, Family and Community Development in implementing the (LAman WAnita- LAWA) Iconic Women Program which is the platform of entrepreneurship for women who aim to promote the involvement of women in national development.

This pilot project through the National Blue Ocean Strategy (NBOS) in collaboration with the Ministry and other agencies can cost-effective and be implemented immediately to provide high impact to the target group.

LAWA Program involves the participation of B40 women entrepreneurs, including single mothers and welfare recipients and also involve IPT's students to help them generate income.
