UCTC UPM helps the Pulau Tuba's communities increase income through rearing free-range chickens

Langkawi, 27 February 2020- Universiti Putra Malaysia through UCTC UPM continues in community service and disclosed University for the Community under the U4S @ northern zone initiative program with the implementation of Knowledge Transfer Program (PUTRAPiL) Free-Range Chicken Breeding towards Community Economic Development in Pulau Tuba, Langkawi.

This series was presented by Dr. Azhar Kasim from the Faculty of Agriculture, Universiti Putra Malaysia discusses the potential and challenges of rearing chickens to the 7 villages in Pulau Tuba's community. This program has attracted more community involvement to improve the existing poultry farming business in the area.
